Tempest Executive are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEND commissioner for an initial 4-month period who is able to navigate issues quickly in order to drive progress and outcomes. This position requires creativity and the ability to scrutinise current arrangements and offer alternative and improved ways of working in accordance with local need and context.
The role covers a range of work streams linked to commissioning in children services and the innovation and improvement program for SEND.
The role reports into the Strategic Commissioning Manager for Children’s Commissioning. The candidate will also work closely with the Operational and Practice Lead for the Innovation and Improvement Programme.
