Interim SEND Caseworkers (£325 per day)
Tempest Executive are seeking to recruit several experienced SEND Caseworkers for a North London based Local Authority. Their Integrated Services for Learning (ISL) are looking for SEND Caseworkers to work together as an effective team within their Statutory SEND service. The purpose of the team will be to take a proactive approach to managing the annual review process for children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
The team will be responsible for drafting and finalising annual review documentation and communicating the local authority decisions relating to the review.
The role of the Caseworkers is to be to be responsible for a designated SEND caseload, ensuring service standards, performance outcomes and statutory requirements are met in line with statutory timescales.
Work will be completed in line with service expectations. We are looking for individuals educated to A level or equivalent, with knowledge of SEND in a school or setting.
You must have knowledge of the SEND legislative framework 0 – 25 and the ability to support the LA to move their service forward working in collaboration with partners ensuring that the child/young person and family are at the centre.
