The Technology Business Unit operates to Design, Deliver, Run and Maintain the technology solutions and services required for the Council to process business and deliver services to the residents. All functions work collaboratively to deliver effective end to end solutions and services.
This role works within the Delivery function which is accountable for the planning and delivery of new and changing technology solutions and services, to the agreed time and budget parameters that effectively meet the objectives of agreed business cases, technical and business change utilising controlled and agile ways of working.
The Project and Change Manager operates within the established frameworks of the Technology Portfolio in order to deliver a range of technology and change projects.
The role provides project management expertise, advice and support, the post holder operates independently within the Technology Portfolio and takes on responsibility for the operational and/or resource management of a project or projects or a number of teams, providing mentoring and support to other less experienced team members as required.
As an experienced, methodical, and structured Project and Change Manager the post holder must be able to engage with a diverse group of individuals at all levels, resolve complex issues and meet critical project timelines and budgetary requirement.
