General Manager within Adult Social Care for additional support across complex care/pathway/safeguarding hub throughout a period of re-design.
"General Manager" is an equivalent level to a "Head of Service" elsewhere. Post will report into the director for Adult Care.
To provide Strategic Leadership in motivating, developing and managing staff through a period of change, and in ensuring the effective operational management of all services. To deliver Personalisation and services that promote choice and control, are of quality and high performance and deliver value for money.
HOS level is essential.
Experience of working within an Adult setting strategic level management and management of a wider group of services e.g. have been responsible for several services at the same time.
Leadership, including skills in setting vision and clarity, communicating, motivating and decision making. Ability to manage change in complex organisations Ability to motivate and engage staff during uncertainty and change.
Day rate negotiable for the right person.
